About this role

As an early member of the team at BookClub, you will be working cross functionally to craft a world-class product. In this role, you will be working specifically to launch and quickly iterate on social features that allow authors and readers to share what they love most -- books and knowledge.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to create beautiful, functional, and engaging experiences for BookClub users 
  • Lead product strategy in the social space
  • Ship high-quality and scalable features quickly
  • Iterate on features quickly based on user feedback, metrics, and A/B test results
  • Own larger business and engagement metrics for BookClub’s social efforts 

Who we are seeking

  • You are a senior product manager who has built scalable applications and features 
  • Experience in consumer products (strong preference for experience building social features and products) 
  • Experience with data driven features designs and decisions
  • Passion for creating great products, with the ability to identify flaws in design, experience, and behavioral outcomes
  • Experience guiding the full product lifecycle: creation, design, execution, testing, etc.
  • You’re a life-long learner who is always seeking to challenge and expand your skills
  • You have high emotional intelligence and are comfortable sharing your thoughts and ideas with candor and good intent
