Not only is this #1 New York Times Bestseller a timely and important piece of work, Smith's prose is deeply felt and impossible to pull yourself away from. How the Word Is Passed is also one of the books selected for Nicole Ellis' Critical Conversations BookClub, and we're proud to have Clint Smith as a BookClub author.
If you know a book lover who is also missing the joy of live music, The Birth of Loud is the perfect book for their holiday. Port's book takes a look at the history of Les Paul and Leo Fender, and how their rivalry impacted the industry they both loved so much.
